Fuchs Lubricants have developed a high quality, thermally durable automatic transmission fluid for heavy-duty vehicles that provides equal performance to leading competitors, but at a reduced price.

TITAN ATF 5005 by Fuchs Lubricants has been designed with selected high-quality base oils and a specially developed additive technology. It is highly thermally durable, offers extreme oxidation stability and offers also a reliable performance at very low temperatures.

It was developed in response to very limited choices for operators of heavy duty vehicles and equipment, who in the past have been confined to a small number of expensive, genuine automatic transmission fluids.

“TITAN ATF 5005 is an exceptionally performing automatic transmission fluid for both heavy and light duty vehicles,” said Tony Swiatek, Automotive Product Manager at FUCHS Lubricants (Australasia).

“It performs excellently in both cold and very high temperature situations and has a durable friction level which remains over its lifetime in the vehicle, resulting in consistently reliable wet clutch performance.

“TITAN ATF 5005 also has industry leading ageing-protection and oxidisation stability, which prevents oil thickening, deposits and helps achieve maximum drain intervals.”

Fuchs Lubricants have secured a number of industry standard approvals for TITAN ATF 5005, including MAN 339 TYPE V2 / Z2, MB-APPROVAL 236.6, VOITH 55.6336.XX (G 1363), and ZF TE-ML 04D, 14B, 16L and 17C.

TITAN ATF 5005 is also recommended by Fuchs for many common manufacturer requirements including ALLISON TES 295 and 389, Volvo 97341, FORD MERCON V, DEXRON III (H) and many others.

“When Fuchs lists a recommendation for any of our products, that is both a guarantee and an implied warranty that the product will perform to the same or a better standard as the officially approved products,” explained Tony.
